Extra Safety Precautions:

MISD is also committed to its continual training of its staff and administration on emergency procedures throughout the school year. MISD partners with Regional Safe School Team, which includes the neighboring school districts of Red Oak, Waxahachie, Ennis, Palmer and Maypearl to discuss issues, write grants and share emergency plans.

MISD works with Texas School Safety Center to ensure its current laws and rules are in compliance and to also keep updated on effective training methods.
