Media Relations
It is the policy of the Midlothian Independent School District to work cooperatively with the news media for coverage of issues and events involving the school district, its students and staff.

Midlothian ISD eNews
Community members and parents can receive the latest district news, events, school board briefs, urgent news and press releases via email. MISD E-news is a free email listserv that provides current and accurate information published by the Communications Department. This email will be sent to those who request to be added to the list.
Partner-Up with MISD
The new Midlothian ISD Partners in Education Program is an organized effort for businesses, organizations and community members to contribute time, talents, resources and money to enhance the education of MISD students.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Senior Citizen Partners: Read to kids, bus/hall greeters, senior tour day
- Tutors: Work one-on-one with students in various grade levels
- Mentors: Spend time with identified students at his/her campus
- Lunch & Reading Buddies
- Career Day/Guest Speakers: Businesses and community experts share career experience with students
