Orientation
Midlothian High School Orientation
- Senior, Junior, and Sophomore orientation is August 10. Seniors will be from 9-10:00. Juniors 11-12:00, Sophomores 1:00-2. Sessions will begin in the auditorium with a general meeting and then students will pick up schedules at the conclusion of the meeting.
- Freshman Panther Camp is August 11, 2-5 pm. All 2011-12 freshman Panthers should join us in the auditorium at 2:00 for a fun and informative three-hour orientation session that will help get you on the path to success at MHS!!
Meeting for Parents of Incoming Freshmen, Thursday, August 11 at 6:30 pm in the MHS Auditorium. Information on NEW Graduation Requirements for the class of 2015 will be presented by MHS Counselors and Administrators

How To Enroll
Parents of students new to MISD must register child at assigned campus. Required paperwork needed: two proofs of residency (I.e. mortgage statement or lease agreement and either a current water, gas, or electric bill), birth certificate, student social security card, current immunization records (see Immunizations Requirements below), transcript/withdrawal papers from previous school, parent driver's license, and custody papers (if applicable).

Starting the week of June 21st, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8-3:30pm (lunch 12-1p), except for the week of July 4th.
Immunization Requirements
Changes to school immunization requirements for five vaccines take effect Aug. 1 according to Texas Department of State Health Services officials. Changes affect mainly students entering kindergarten and seventh grade. All immunizations must be completed by the first day of attendance at public and private schools. Immunizations for incoming 7th grade students
According to the Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements for Students, incoming 7th graders are required to have updated immunizations. Athletic Physicals
Students entering MISD middle and high schools for the 2011-12 school year and are wanting to participate in Pre-Athletics and Athletics, need to fill out and turn in their athletic physical forms. Download and print the form packets below for each child that is taking an athletic physical.
