Interested in becoming a book cover sponsor?

Today, thousands of tax dollars are spent annually to replace torn, dirty and destroyed textbooks in our Texas Schools. Much of this destruction could be prevented with something as simple as a book cover, which is required by Texas Education Code Section 31.104 © (“Each textbook, other than electronic textbook, must be covered by the student under the direction of a teacher”).

So, what can your company do to help? One concrete solution is to purchase book covers and donate them to your local schools. Not only will you be protecting textbook, but also your Company Logo and information will be used and seen daily by students, teachers, and parents alike.

The Walraven Company Book Cover Program is going into its 88TH year as the exclusive book cover provider to many Texas School District, including ours. As a Textbook Coordinator, I am responsible for the upkeep of textbooks, so I know first hand that Walraven book covers do make a big difference in the life expectancy of the textbooks.

You, as a business we patronize, as employer of a parent, a local club, or a parent yourself, realize the importance of learning. Learning starts with the right tools, including reusable textbooks. Please make a difference by donating book covers to your local schools through the Walraven Book Cover Program.

If interested in donating to this worthy cause, please contact Joann Herron at 972-775-8296 or Camille Smith at Walraven Book Cover Company, 1-800-442-4748.
